Brandon Boyd, lead vocalist of Incubus, joined Matt Pinfield for this episode of New & Approved to talk all about current solo endeavors.
Boyd will be releasing his third solo album “Echoes And Cocoons” next year, but we can catch a glimpse of what it will entail since Boyd recently put out a single from the record “Pocket Knife.” Boyd tells Matt about how his dreams inspired the album, along with the dream-like state of the Covid-19 lockdown. We also get to learn about Boyd’s collaboration with famous producer John Congleton.
Along with music, Boyd is deeply passionate about reading as his life has been filled with books since he was a child. His favorite authors have richly inspired his songwriting process as well. Boyd is an avid supporter of the arts and recently launched his own art collective Moonlight Arts Collective.
Be on the lookout as “Echoes And Cocoons” is estimated to be out by March 2022!
