Today we celebrate ZZ Top guitarist’s Billy Gibbons 71st birthday. Since forming the iconic Texas rock band in 1969 with bassist Dusty Hill (who we lost this year) and drummer Frank Beard (the only member without a beard), Gibbons has never stopped working in music. This past year he released his third solo studio album Hardware and continues to tour with ZZ Top and as a solo artist.
