As frontman of the band Daughtry, Chris Daughtry is constantly gifting the world with his music. Daughtry joined Matt Pinfield to discuss his career and his own personal life on this episode of New & Approved.

Daughtry just released their latest album “Dearly Beloved” last Fall and are still working on new music. Matt talks with Chris about how blown away he was at the band’s performance at the Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio, which Chris was so excited to be a part of. They also chat about Daughtry’s show at LA’s Grammy Museum, which he included upcoming guitarist Jasmine Star in. Chris heavily believes in bringing others up and seeing everyone win.

Chris opens up about tragically losing both his mom and his stepdaughter and how essential a break was. After taking time off to deal with the grief, he now feels at peace and that both women are his spirit guides who would be happy seeing him doing what he loves again. Daughtry is now back on the road and Chris is so grateful for the amount of love they have been receiving from their fans.
