Fleetwood Mac keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie passed away suddenly on November 30th at the age of 79. Her family issued a statement that she died of a “short illness” and that she “passed away peacefully.”

Even McVie’s close friends were shocked at Christine’s unexpected passing. This week, her official cause of death was finally revealed. According to Christine’s death certificate, the primary cause was a stroke and the secondary cause listed was a “metastatic malignancy of unknown primary origin.” She also had “atrial fibrillation” and “large atrial thrombus.”

No matter the case, we are still so sad over the passing of such a legendary artist. She is so missed and forever will be.
