Krist Novoselic, bassist of Nirvana, joined Matt Pinfield to discuss his current projects for this episode of New & Approved.

Novoselic has been keeping busy with his supergroup 3rd Secret. This band consists of Novoselic, drummer Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, guitarist Jon “Bubba” Dupree of Void, and vocalists Jillian Raye and Jennifer Johnson who performed with Novoselic in the band Giants in the Trees. Novoselic tells Matt all about how he met his bandmates and how the group came to be.

Matt asks Novoselic all about his favorite records and greatest inspirations. Novoselic discusses the records that shaped his music taste, his favorite bassists, and the albums he considers the greatest of all time.
