AC/DC’s iconic 1980 album, Back in Black, has now surpassed 25 million in certified units/sales within the U.S.

The data is charted by the RIAA. The album had already reached gold and then platinum status in October 1980 when it was actually released. It reached 5 times platinum status in 1984 and was diamond certified in 1990.
